From the Stacks Reading Challenge 2007
I am never one to turn down a reading challenge of almost any kind. But this one seems like it was almost made just for me. I have bunches of books that would qualify, but here’s my 5 for this particular purpose:
Homefront: A Military City and the American 20th Century by Catherine Lutz
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Siblings Without Rivalry: How to Help Your Children Live Together so You Can Live Too by Adele Faber & Elaine Mazlish
The Tenth Insight by James Redfield
The Gift of the Jews: How a Tribe of Desert Nomands Changed the Way Everyone Thinks and Feels by Thomas Cahill
Join the fun here and don’t forget to let me know what your five are going to be– I’m always looking for the next great read!
